Guest Privacy & Data Security
Aurelia is built so that privacy is the default, not a setting. It is tap-to-talk, has no camera, keeps nothing beyond the active session, and processes voice in the region your property operates in.
Tap-to-talk, not always-listening
Aurelia only activates when a guest taps the device. There is no ambient listening — the microphone is not capturing audio until the guest chooses to start a conversation.
No camera
The device has no visual sensor. Aurelia is voice-only by design.
Session-only transcripts
Voice is processed in real time. Transcripts are retained only for the active session and deleted within 24 hours — they are not kept beyond the conversation they belong to.
No post-checkout data
Nothing persists after the guest checks out.
Regional compliance
UAE properties align with PDPL (Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021). European brands align with GDPR. We confirm the specific posture for your property and brand flag during onboarding.
Opt-in by design
Guests choose to interact. The device does not initiate — there is no listening to opt out of, because Aurelia does nothing until it is tapped.
